Waking Up From the American Dream: Notes from Occupy Wall Street

As I walked back into my place in providence, I was flooded with expectation of how to bring what I just saw, felt, tasted and touched back with me to the world I know here. A Dream of Hope From a Place of Darkness

There was some sort of darkness surrounded by beauty and light living together. I felt the sense of hopelessness dabbled with awe as we drove up the long dirt road towards the TIG work camp. Complete and utter fear taking over my mind...as the most gorgeous landscape appeared before us. There is a different way I look at machete's now, and I'm quite unsure of how those living here can see them day after day after day after how they were used during the genocide.

I've never seen a hell…
