- In August 2009 I met Bernie Glassman fot the first time at the meeting with H.H. the Dalai Lama in Frankfurt, and I felt deeply touched. So I took contact with Heinz-Jürgen Metzger, and with his sangha/community I started going to Weimar-Buchenwald having a 5-days-sesshin at the area of the Buchenwald-Lager. These days have opened my heart for the letting-in of the whole suffering, that was present in the years of this horrible second world war. I found, that I was at the beginning of being able to bear witness, to be in the state of not-knowing and to heal. I see chances for doing peaceful work , every day in my life. It makes me happy.
In 2010 my wife Monika took the chance to go to Auschwitz in June, and coming back we both decided to make being Peacemaker our common way to engage in social projects and in Zazen. Our teacher Barbara Salaam Wegmüller is our wonderful guide on this path.
- My Work
- In January 2010 I started a seminar with men to teach expressing its deep feelings and movements in writing (creative writing or writing by intuition). It is my first, and I am happy to do this work to invite men to experience their inconciousness in every days life and having a chance to express it in writing, what often cannot be spoken out.
